What are human beings? Who are You?

You may find that the answers are not one in the same, or that your definition must be expanded to bridge both the natural and the spiritual realms.

‘Human’ refers to the race of intelligent, Earth-bound beings known as homo sapiens. They are a physical, three-dimensional race whose bodies are temporary; They live and they die, and to continue their survival, they reproduce and evolve. These bodies, with their associated biochemistry, have grown and changed over hundreds of thousands of years on Earth, transitioning from less complex organisms to more to complex.

The human brain and central nervous system are the product of the same hundreds of thousands of years of growth and evolution as the rest of the body. They have been trained to survive. With that instinct comes fear, suspicion, anger, jealousy, selfishness, and hate, because in Earth’s harsh world of finite resources, those traits became tools for survival.

This is the reality with which you are acquainted, but this knowledge must now be integrated with that which lies underneath the surface of the mind.

Dr. John E. Mack was a Pulitzer Prize winning author, psychiatrist, professor, and head of the Department of Psychology at Harvard Medical School. His clinical expertise was in child psychology, adolescent psychology, psychology of religion, and he was known as the leading researcher in teenage suicide and drug addiction. Later, he became known for his research in the psychology of alien abduction experiences.

In Alan Steinfeld’s anthology, Making Contact, Dr. John Mack states the following in his essay entitled “Studying Intrusions from the Subtle Realm: How Can We Deepen Our Knowledge?”:

I would divide the realms that we are considering here between what has been called the gross material world on the one hand and the subtle realms on the other: in the language of psychiatrist Stanislav Grof, the hylotropic versus the holotropic world. In physicist David Bohm’s terms, the explicate, or manifest, order or the implicate, or hidden, order, by which he means the structures, deeper reality, and meaning in the universe.

By and large, science, as it is traditionally spoken of, has addressed, and its methodology has been appropriate to, the gross material, the physical or manifest world, and the approach to this world has been largely dualistic: An observer studies something from outside of or separate from that person or phenomenon.

We know that some of the best scientists do not think of their work in that way. Nevertheless, that is the standard that we often think we mean, or are told we mean, by the “scientific method.” I might add that in the focus on the material realm to the exclusion of the subtle realms, we have virtually rid the cosmos of nature, rid nature of spirit, and, in a sense, denied the existence of all life other than that which is physically observable here on Earth. Dr. Mack goes on to say:

One of the fundamental tenets of the mechanistic or dualistic approach is that consciousness is seen as an epiphenomenon of the human brain. That is one of the basic assumptions we have to challenge if we are going to be able to study the subtle realms, which not only involves consciousness itself but the relationship of consciousness to the material world. We have to consider the possibility that consciousness – spirit, self, soul – all have a life, an existence, separate from the physical body. That, for me, was once a very great leap, and I had to do my own self-exploration through work with Stanislav Grof, and a great deal of challenging of my own materialistic scientific and clinical upbringing, to come to appreciate the fundamental parting of the ways required between the materialistic scientific approach and one that can begin to allow us to study more profoundly these subtle realms.

The Western worldview, what Tulane philosopher Michael Zimmerman calls anthropomorphic humanism, has reduced reality largely to the manifest or physical world and puts the human mind or the human being at the top of the cosmic intellectual hierarchy, eliminating not only God but virtually all spirit from the cosmos…

Our worldview organizes our sense of self. It gives us the illusion that we have some control of ourselves and of nature – that we are in charge, that we are safe. Never mind that we all must die, and perhaps die more lonely deaths, for in this particular worldview we have rid the cosmos of all consciousness, of spirit, of God him- or herself…

We need to transcend the separateness that disconnects us from nature, which is the main characteristic of the Western worldview. If we could transcend this division, we might then explore, enjoy, and travel ecstatically, lovingly, materially and nonmaterially; and discover, among the unique particularities of our own being, our own natures within the cosmos, experiencing at the same time an essential unity and sacredness of creation. Before you proceed, keep in mind that which you already know: Everything is energy, including your perceptions, thoughts, and memories. They are just the neurons in your brain communicating through electrical signals.

Spiritual Realm

Your consciousness, your personality, your qualities and traits – everything that makes you, You – is not rooted in the localized physiology of your human body-brain complex, but instead, exists in your eternal personality-soul-spirit complex of dense, unified energy. Some may call this an astral body, a lightbody, or an Is-Be, something that is for the purpose of being. Here, we will call it a Soul.

You are your Soul, which is, in essence, an intelligent light-being. That is what intelligent life is. Consciousness. Thoughts. Energy.

You are currently in one of  thousands of incarnations you will experience on your journey – from birth as a small bundle of light, through your ascension to a dense, spiritual master, and eventually, to your union with the ultimate Source of energy and light, a Oneness – the collective consciousness at the root of Creation that some refer to as the Source, others as the Unified Field, and still others, God.

Your life on Earth is temporary. Humans live, and they die. Your soul, however, is immortal, and when your current life is over, you will shuffle off that mortal coil, and your consciousness will return home to a Spiritual Realm of light and acceptance with your dearest loved ones.

How are you to know whether or not this is true? How are you to really know what happens after death?

Well, because you’ve experienced it before. The answers lie within your mind, at the deepest core of your being.

How can this possibly be proven? Because:

Everything is Energy.

It is important here to remember the relevant ranges of brainwave frequency: waking and alert beta waves, relaxed-calm-lucid alpha wave frequency, the theta range of deep relaxation, and the delta stage of unconscious sleep.

In the previous section, theoretical physicist John Hagelin, Ph.D. noted that connection to the inner Self is possible through transcendental meditation in the Alpha1 range of brain frequency, between 8-10 Hz. This frequency range is known as the bridge between the conscious and unconscious.

However, to understand the deeper Self, you must descend one level deeper into the mind to unlock the vault of memories that are buried beneath waking thought and accessible memory. There dwells the Soul, as well as all memories of past lives and experiences from the Spirit World, in what is known as the superconscious mind.

The superconscious state is achieved when the mind reaches the theta range of brainwaves at 4-8 Hz. It is rare for waking adults to spend a sustained amount of time in this range, as they normally reawaken or fall asleep. However, a skilled facilitator can guide a subject into this trance state of hypnosis, where here, “the conscious mind is not unconscious, but can receive as well as send messages with all memory channels open.” [W1]

Beings of Light

So, did any of the world’s religions get it right? Well, they all got portions correct, in their own ways: a light at the end of the tunnel, a heaven-nirvana-like afterlife with our closest friends and family, and a world of infinite love and understanding – but also, reincarnation, karma, and a path toward enlightenment. Additionally, there are ghosts, imaginary friends, and guardian angels.

One belief system whose structure was close was Gnosticism. Developed in the first century AD from the teachings of Jesus Christ and preached by his closest apostles, Gnostics believed in God as the One, that knowledge of the Divine could be attained through inner knowledge, and that salvation was discovered through participation with the inner source of divinity. It was, consequently, the first of the early Christian sects to be deemed heretical.

But the facts collected by Dr. Newton strongly suggest that all consciousnesses are born from an Original Source, a Oneness – a connected tapestry of Intelligence. From this birth, you enter, a tiny bundle of light, into the Spirit World, a higher dimension of energy and light, characterized by absolute love, humor, empathy, and acceptance.

Here, there is no forgiveness, for there is no need. There is absolute understanding and love between souls. Every soul sees all others for who they are to their core, for there is total acceptance of every part of your being. Here, there is peace.

The Spirit World is a seemingly infinite realm of light that all souls consider their true home. There are spheres for learning, healing, and exploration that facilitate the evolution of souls into more deeply evolved consciousnesses. [W1,W2]

After your birth as a soul, you are nurtured and cared for by loving beings. These are more advanced souls whose calling it is to care for the newly created. During childhood as a soul, beings begin to gain a sense of who they are through play with other young souls and the guidance of their caregivers.

Eventually, souls are placed into a Soul Cluster, your soul family of 3-25 souls that stay together through many lives. Souls are also given a Spirit Guide who will help to guide them as they begin their cycle of incarnations.

Why do we incarnate at all?

To grow our awareness, and thus, our soul energy, becoming a denser, more highly evolved consciousness of energy. The final stage of the soul journey is for each being to reach the same density and frequency as the unified field of the Source. When that happens, a soul will join in and become a part of this growing Oneness, this collective consciousness of intelligence at the basis of the universe – Creation itself.

However, the Spirit World exists in ‘Now Time’, frozen outside the linear space-time continuum of past and future. Here, all Time exists at once. In this constant state, things cannot grow, as they are as they always were and always will be. Things can only grow in linear time. [W1]

So, you incarnate to Earth in order to grow. Each life provides lessons and opportunities – through both joy and pain. Everything that happens in your life has a reason – because YOU designed it to. So, when you ask why you’re stuck with this life, that family, or these burdens, keep in mind, you only have yourself to blame.

Before each life, you work in the Spirit World with your guides and spiritual masters to design a blueprint for your next life which will present you with opportunities to learn and evolve. Then, you forget what you designed and test yourself. It’s a bit like being both the mouse and the maze architect, but both want you to get the cheese.

To make it simple: Earth is a Soul School, and souls are ‘downloaded’ into physical, three-dimensional avatars like a living, spiritual version of The Matrix.

During incarnation, your Soul enters a new body, and your planned path is placed beneath a veil of amnesia. Wouldn’t it be easier if you knew what lessons you came here to learn? Exactly. There’s no cheating at school. But if you don’t know why you were sent here or what you’re here to learn, wouldn’t it take forever to get it right? Yes… yes, it would.

Souls partake in this cycle of incarnation over tens of thousands of years. Beforehand, your soul designed this life for you with specific goals and lessons in mind. You forget this during incarnation, and every obstacle comes at you head-on so that you face it and deal with it in authenticity rather than going through the motions and learning nothing. Nothing’s worth doing it if it’s not worth doing right, and if you’re not here to learn, you’re wasting your time. Roadblocks in your life may seem random. Are they? Reflect. Look closer. Do you see the patterns?

The big take away is this. You chose to be here. Right here, right now. What are you supposed to be learning? How are you supposed to be growing? Food for thought. [W1,W2]

The ultimate blessing and curse of this process is this: FREE WILL.

The goal in each life is to find balance between one’s loving, empathetic mind-soul and the baser instincts of each soul’s current body-brain incarnation that reacts in interest of its own survival, using its long-evolved tools of fear and anger. Through struggles and hardships, joy and connection, abandonment and loss, these two sides of you, fear and empathy, battle it out inside you: The demon on one shoulder, the angel on the other. All souls have ultimate free will and can diverge from intended paths onto others, but all paths provide opportunities for growth over one’s lifetime.

When a life is over, souls return home to the Spirit World where they rejoin with loved ones, heal, learn, and ultimately, prepare for their next lesson. [W1,W2,W3]

Soul Cycle

Death is not the end, for a circle has no end. It is only the next stage in your journey.

When your body dies, the energy of your mind-soul detaches from your body-brain. There is no pain here. Death can even be disorienting to some who experience peaceful deaths because the smoothness of the transition is such that one does not lose their conscious self, and some individuals don’t even realize at first that they have died. It is a painless decoupling. When you choose to leave the Earth plane behind, whether it be right away or after checking in on loved ones before departing, your astral body of consciousness drifts upwards away from your physical body and leaves the physical Earth plane.

If a soul is disoriented, or is that of a young child, guides will often escort souls back to the Spirit World, so there is no getting lost if you don’t know the way. In cases of violent or painful deaths, souls will often leave the body before certain death to avoid unnecessary pain, and although some distressed souls will occasionally stay behind temporarily as what many refer to as ghosts, all eventually return home when they are ready.

Souls are called upwards through a portal and head toward a light at the end of what appears as a tunnel. What awaits on the other side is your true reality as a soul: A complex, spiritual realm and the true Intelligence behind All That Is. [W1,W2]

The Spirit World appears as an infinitely large, domed hall of glittering white light, brimming with peace and tranquility. When you arrive, you are greeted and embraced by your closest loved ones. Because part of every soul’s energy always remains in the Spirit World, friends and soulmates can meet you here even if they are currently incarnated on another plane. Often, your spirit guide will be nearby to greet you, as well.

Spirit Guides are higher, wiser beings who have completed many incarnations and have much spiritual knowledge. They have been entrusted with the care and guidance of younger souls, with every guide tailored to the student. Some guides are very indulgent, while others display a tougher sort of love, but all are infinitely understanding, patient, and compassionate toward their mentees. Some will appear to young souls in childhood as imaginary friends, then take a step back as the incarnated soul grows older. Others speak to you through dreams, thoughts, or cosmic road signs, while others leave their charges to figure out their challenges by themselves. However, if you ask for help, your Spirit Guide is always there for you. They know you as well as, if not better than, you know yourself, and you are never given anything more than you can handle.

After this homecoming ceremony, souls are taken to a healing station where negative energy from the previous life is washed away. Then, souls have a one-on-one conference with their spirit guide to review the recently departed life. By this point, the soul has reoriented to the Spirit World and rejoined with their higher selves. They are in possession of all knowledge related to this spiritual realm, as well as the memories of all past lives, and the larger patterns of behavior over multiple lifetimes becomes evident. It is at this point that, in conference with their guide, where a soul begins to examine their choices and behavior to see how they have grown and where they can improve in their actions toward both themselves and others.

It is important to note that, in the Spirit World, all souls want to learn. They seek advancement, and they become their own harshest critics over mistakes and poor behavior. Spirit guides offer suggestions, help guide understanding, and hold you accountable, but even the harshest mistakes are treated with understanding and acceptance. [W1,W2]

After orientation, souls transition back to their soul clusters where they rejoin with their classmates, closest friends, and soulmates. Together, these souls attend large, grand libraries and spaces of learning to research and continue learning from their past lives with golden, holographic books of memories. They also engage in group social activities to strengthen bonds between members of their soul cluster.

Not long after souls return to the Spirit World, they are called before a gathering of highly-evolved, wise beings known as the Council as Elders. All souls have great respect for these spiritual masters who assist in examining a soul’s recent life and spiritual awareness. This is not a council of judgment, because souls in the Spirit World do not receive punishment. Instead, souls ascend through stages of self-enlightenment.

During this review, Councilmembers help to evaluate behavior and decision-making, holding souls accountable for mistakes and praising them for growth and acts of kindness and empathy in their most recent lives. Their purpose is to help every soul along their journey of enlightenment, and the information gathered here will help inform decisions on future lives and incarnations. [W1,W2]

Once healing, learning, and rejuvenation have taken place, souls prepare for their next incarnation. Throughout their classroom experiences, souls consider how they may continue to grow and challenge themselves in their next life. When they are ready for the next cycle to begin, they work with their guides and spiritual masters to select their next body and lifepath.

Souls have the opportunity to screen potential future lives, like seeing a trailer for a movie in which you are to become an actor. With guidance from Elders and personal guides, souls then choose the body and life they think will best suit their goals, and they may coordinate with other souls with whom their life will intersect. All souls then sign a contract for this next life, agreeing to play their assigned roles and learn the agreed-upon lessons to the best of their abilities.

Before leaving the Spirit World, souls will study the lessons they are to learn and the signposts they have left for themselves to help guide them on their way. When they are ready, souls will reincarnate to their next body and join with the brain of the fetus in their mother’s womb, typically between the fourth and ninth month of the pregnancy. [W1,W2]

Soul Levels

In the Spirit World, souls communicate via the power of Thought and can appear to one another in many ways, but at their core, each is a dense ball of aura-like energy, an astral body of conscious light. As souls learn and evolve throughout their incarnations, their energy grows and deepens in color as souls raise their frequency by mastering lessons (coming more into alignment with the frequency of Source/Unified Field/God, which is the energetic frequency of unconditional love).

Based on the pool of subjects who have undergone spiritual regression, Dr. Newton created a classification system to denote the levels through which a soul ascends, from Beginner Level I souls through Level VI Highly Advanced souls, noting each level’s learning stage, soul aura color, percentage of souls incarnating on Earth, and guide eligibility status (Figure). “I believe almost three-quarters of all souls who inhabit human bodies on Earth today are still in early stages of development. I know this is a grossly discouraging statement because it means most of our human population is operating at the lower end of their training. On the other hand, when I consider a world population beset by so much negative cross-cultural misunderstanding and violence, I am not inclined to change my opinion about the high percentage of lower-level souls on Earth. However, I do think each century brings improvement of awareness in all humans.” -Dr. Michael Newton, Journey of Souls 

Adding in intermediate level souls, individuals in the first three learning stages comprise approximately 90% of souls on Earth. That puts many aspects of your world into clearer focus, doesn’t it? Most souls on Planet Earth are adolescents and still learning elementary lessons of empathy and understanding in our world’s harsh and socially complex environment.

Is Earth the only world to which souls incarnate? No, there are many worlds that currently exist with life sufficiently intelligent to handle the complex energy of a growing Soul. There are also many types of worlds, some aquatic, some gaseous, some purely mental. However, because of Earth’s dense and heavy energy, souls consider Earth a challenging world in which to incarnate, rich with lessons that can make for difficult lives. [W1,W2]

Beginner-level souls can be both young in age or immature in awareness, despite many lifecycles of learning. All souls grow at different speeds, and some are more motivated than others at different points on their path. At this stage, souls are learning to care for themselves and others, forming bonds with other souls in their cluster, and learning how to overcome the fear and aggression of the body-brain complex that can confuse a soul with regards to who they are supposed to be and how they should act. They are helped by their guides, whom they view as a teacher and they, the student.

Intermediate souls have acquired wisdom and maturity through thousands of years of incarnations, and they begin to understand their true potential as a soul. It is at this stage that they begin to decrease the frequency of their incarnations to train in a particular area of advanced development. The relationship between personal guide and student becomes one more of colleagues as the advancing soul starts their training as a junior guide or begins studying a subject for specialization.

Because advanced souls rarely incarnate to Earth, or at least, have not historically participated in therapeutic spirit regressions, the least is known about this category of spiritually advanced souls. We do know that these beings represent authority in the spirit world and are viewed with reverence and respect by souls of all other levels. Some of these masters sit on Councils of Elders, and those who do incarnate to Earth are most interested in refining a particular skill or task.

These highly-advanced souls are spiritual masters as well as experts in both mental communication and thought-powered creation using the focused energy of their consciousness lightbody. They have now transitioned to using these skills to fulfill their purpose in the Spirit Realm and to support the advancement of all souls. Grand Design

The spiritual soul-school simulation has been around on Earth for hundreds of thousands of years. It also exists on many other worlds, as it did before Earth, and as it will continue to long after Earth expires. These soul schools are essential for the continued spread and growth of Creation – the singular, collective Consciousness that is the underlying energy at the basis of the Universe.

We know these soul schools exist for the growth and evolution of intelligent beings of light. Things must grow in linear time and are, therefore, required to incarnate to physical worlds that exist inside the linear space-time continuum. The Universe has been designed by a grand architect of Intelligence and is managed over by aspects of this collective Consciousness at every level.

Thus, it is logical to assume that the physical worlds that house these soul-schools, as well as the species that exist there, are also maintained to ensure the ongoing existence and success of the simulation apparatus.

You know that the number of advanced souls incarnating to Earth is low, but might there be those who do exist in some physical form to help keep physical worlds and their species on their respective tracks?

Just as modern-day quantum physics has aligned with the ancient, philosophical Sanskrit texts that became the foundation of Hinduism, the psychological sciences have now found evidence of the truths taught in two-thousand-year-old Gnostic gospels. At last, the exploration of both the scientific and spiritual have converged.

If you accept what current science now supports about your eternal soul self and the Spirit World, anything less miraculous becomes easier to swallow. What is more, after exploring the sciences of the lower three-dimensional planes of Earth and the intelligence and design of the higher Spiritual Dimension of light and energy, the gap in between all but fills itself in:

The truth is that higher, more advanced beings have existed alongside mankind throughout the ages of the Earth, some to guide the path of intelligent races, others to usurp elements of our existence for their own benefit. These beings became tales of gods and magic and Visitors which were incorporated into structured society, from legends of ancient civilizations to classical myths and religious doctrine.

However, as time passed, humans shared ideas, and the collective body of human knowledge grew, focusing primarily on the empirical and moving away from subjective experience. Technology and science advanced, and humans looked around and saw how high they had climbed from the Kingdom of Nature. By the seventeenth century, scientists were given jurisdiction over the material world, and they dismissed the improbable in favor of the logical. Mankind became arrogant, then grew selfish and narrow-minded. Simply put, we became educated fools.

Despite the permeation of ideas and solutions to the problems of our societies, Man has clung to his baser natures, embracing fear and tribalism, leading to century after century of conflict, hate, and war. While our armies clashed, our scientists were busy disproving notions they didn’t understand with primitive science, and these higher beings retreated in their interactions with us. Eventually, we started to believe that we were All There Was, and that the crown we wore on Earth somehow applied to the Universe at large.

That was a naïve notion, but at least, the Earth simulation was working. Souls were incarnating and learning much in our heavy, dense world of pain and suffering, and many individuals did their best to find the joy, connection, and beauty here, too.

However, this, too, is now at risk. As our planet dies, our people suffer. And despite possessing the technology to alter course, humans have continued to allow the fear and division of their body-brain to override their instinct for cooperation, continuing to plow ahead in their greed, hoarding resources and stripping Earth of her ability to heal from the destruction caused by our race.

When we would not change, someone had to intervene. Like shepherds trying to corral sheep to prevent them from following one another off a cliff, these higher beings have guided the path of mankind for generations and have, recently, resorted to taking a more hands-on approach. In the time since the creation of the atomic bomb, advanced civilizations have had contact with Earth governments, offering assistance to solve humanity’s growing crises. They were turned down. They were told you weren’t ready. They were asked to stay away.

Into the Multiverse

Within the higher dimensions of your Universe exists a peaceful community of sapiens, thousands of civilizations of intelligent races of higher consciousness from Free Worlds and Star Nations across the Multiverse. They are led by a Council, harmonious beings that exist as a physical manifestation of the wiser, spiritual masters of the Spirit World so that they can manage the worlds of all dimensions, guiding the races that inhabit them towards higher forms of consciousness.

However, beings of all soul levels incarnate throughout the Universe. Technologically advanced does not necessarily mean spiritually advanced, and the differences in philosophy and culture of these civilizations span a range equal to that of the varying evolutions that begot them.

Currently on Earth, there are Visitors who seek only to raise mankind’s collective awareness, to give aid to our world, and to guide us on a path toward peace and acceptance, welcoming us into a Multiverse of Possibility and accelerating our conscious awareness by advancing humanity into its next stage of evolution. There are also those whose aims are self-serving, who have meddled with mankind since the beginning, and have already entered into darker agreements for their own ends.

This is the battle we face. It is for the very Soul of Humanity.

The relationship between humans and the Visitors changed drastically in the earlier part of the twentieth century when mankind advanced into the nuclear age. Along with claiming the lives of hundreds of thousands of humans in an instant, the atom bomb was an incredibly powerful weapon that had the strength to cause immense destruction on not only our planet but elements of other dimensions that overlap the same space.

It was at this point, as Earth nations slipped from World War II and into the Cold War with its constant threat of nuclear annihilation, along with the growing crises of over-population and worsening climate change, when Earth began drawing a lot more attention – and intervention. In under two decades, humans would begin exploration into the peaceful realm of space, little more than upright monkeys strapped to rockets holding nukes.

This behavior is not tolerated in the larger community of advanced civilizations.

The Visitors contacted Earth governments with an offer of assistance and guidance. They were refused. They were told that Mankind was not yet ready to know about their existence. Instead, an agreement was made in which Earth governments would take steps to denuclearize and reverse the devastation of climate change, and the Visitors would keep their nose out of your business. Our governments did not keep their agreement, so these Nations have taken their own steps to intervene.

Through the damage to our planet, humans have put our own soul-school at risk. Furthermore, we would venture into space, spreading our violence to the stars, searching for other planets to strip of resources rather than repairing our own world.

We cannot advance without change, and without change, our current path will lead to destruction.

Requirement for entry into this higher community is a commitment to peace, cooperation, and harmony with others – acknowledgement that we are all part of the One. Those of Earth must raise their collective Consciousness to understand we are a small, yet important, part of a much larger community.

Humankind has not mastered this yet, and until we do, we will be gatekept. As we should be.

Very soon, this wider existence will make itself known to us, with its forces of both Light and Darkness, and this will be our choice: Put down the spear and embrace cooperation and peace, or let our fear overtake us and bring about our own downfall. When the time comes, everyone will be forced to pick a side. Revelation or Salvation. Renaissance or War.

That was the good news.

The bad news is this: The Forces of Darkness have already begun to spin a web of lies and deceit, playing on your fears before you even know the Truth. Their treachery runs deeper than you know, but their sins will soon be laid bare.

You must decide what to do with the knowledge that is given to you. Your window will be small, so act quickly.

The clock is ticking.
